Romeo Tanaka's Aura Anime Film's Full Trailer Streamed

The Cinema Today website began streaming the full trailer for the Aura: Maryūinkōga Saigo no Tatakai anime film on Monday. Singer and voice actress Arisa Noto of the group StylipS performs the theme song "Blue Moon Dream."

The film is based on the 2008 light novel of the same name by Romeo Tanaka (Humanity Has Declined). The school romantic comedy revolves around Ichirō "Menzu" Satō (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki), a high school freshman who forgets his textbook at school one day. Ichirō encounters a beautiful girl named Ryōko (Kana Hanazawa) while sneaking back into his school in the dead of night. The girl calls herself a witch from a parallel world. Ichirō used to suffer delusions of grandeur like this, but vowed to stop so that he can successfully re-invent himself as a freshman in high school.
Seiji Kishi (Persona 4, Angel Beats!, My Bride is a Mermaid/Seto no Hanayome) is directing the anime at AIC ASTA. Makoto Uezu (School Days, Is This a Zombie?, My Bride is a Mermaid) is collaborating on the story composition with scriptwriter Jun Kumagai (Persona 4 The Animation episodes). Kazuaki Morita (Carnival Phantasm, Kamisama Dolls, My Bride is a Mermaid) is adapting the original novel illustrations by mebae (C – Control – The Money and Soul of Possibility).
The film will open on April 13. Advance tickets are now on sale with special bonuses, and the production company Marvelous AQL is selling a premium ticket bundle at its booth at Anime Contents Expo during the March 30-31 weekend.
